Clinician’s View Policies and Terms of Service

Terms of Service: The purchaser of any CEU course or product agrees to abide by the below policies. Further, the purchaser understands and accepts the policies stated below. Clinician's View® reserves the right to modify terms and purchase options.


Overview

Clinician's View® courses are accepted by NBCOT for PDUs for fulfillment of OT certification renewal. Clinician View® speech related courses are Approved by the California and Illinois Speech Therapy Boards, Clinician’s View® courses are approved by New York, Illinois and California PT Boards and approved by numerous other PT Boards (see our website for specific state PT Board Approvals). Selected Courses are approved by CABOT for Advanced Practice, and the Illinois Early Intervention Training Program. See CEU Approvals for details. Occupational Therapists who wish to use Clinician's View® courses for their state license requirements need to review their individual state continuing education requirements. Prior approval by your state may be required. All information needed by your state board on any individual course (Speaker bio/Topic Index/Learning Objectives/Description, etc.) can be found on our website by clicking ‘Details’ for the course of interest. It is the responsibility of the individual therapist to confirm acceptance before purchasing.

Viewer's Agreement

When purchasing any CEU course, the viewer agrees to the following:

Viewer's Agreement for On-Line Courses
Each participant is required to read and agree to the policies and guidelines for taking a Clinician’s View® On-Line Courses. The participant (viewer) understands that only those registered for the on-line course are authorized to view the on-line course. The participant agrees to protect the copyright of the material and to prevent unauthorized viewing. A verification exam (70% or better) is required to receive a CEU certificate of continuing education. The participant (viewer) understands that the verification exam for any on-line course cannot be taken before the required clock hours of the course expire. All license boards have their own criteria for accepting continuing education. It is the responsibility of the viewer to understand and conform to his or her individual state license board requirements.

Shipping Policies for Books and DVDs

Clinician’s View® now provides books in PDF format and DVDs in mp4 format for download only. Instructors teaching classes or Bookstores that require hard copy books may contact Clinician’s View for order details.

Taking Online Exams

Clinician's View is required to verify contact hours as well as exam completion. When taking an online course be sure you have spent the correct amount of hours before taking the exam. Course completions are monitored to insure that courses are completed appropriately. Course contact hours listed include time granted for written material (see Topic Index for each course) If you try to take an exam after registering for a course in less hours than the actual course you will not be able to complete the exam or receive a certificate until the required hours can be verified. We are responsible for verifying appropriate completion of continuing education hours to our accrediting bodies. Please complete all courses appropriately.

Purchase Options

Please note our new purchase options:

  • 1 - 3 contact hour courses $15 each
  • 4 - 7 contact hour courses $35 each
  • 8 - 11 contact hour courses $55 each
  • 12 - 15 contact hour courses $75 each
  • 16 or more contact hour courses $95 each
  • Course must be completed within 30 days of purchase
  • 10-day extensions will be available for $10

Taking Online Courses

We allow one On-Line Course to be taken at one time. Once you complete one on-line course you can order another. You will have 30 days to complete a course. 10 day extensions are available for $10. You can also review any course you complete one time for a 7-day period.

Ending a Course without Taking the Exam

If you have an open pending online course and you want to take a different course, you can end that course and take another. Click on End Course Without Taking Exam and it will disappear from your Pending Online Course List. Then you will be able to order a different course. This option is available for your convenience and should not be used as a preview process. Repeated use of this option may result in temporary loss of access.

Notice Regarding Courses Approved for Speech Therapy

Click here for a list of courses approved for speech therapy. Clinicians View® terminated its relationship with ASHA in good standing in 2015. Speech therapists should check with their individual states for specific CEU acceptance criteria. Clinician’s View® is currently approved by the following speech therapy license boards:
