Course Description
This seminar presents concepts of the central nervous system based on research over the last ten years and is translated into clinical application by Dr. Moore. Topics include: Terminology and Basic Essentials; Synapses at all levels of the CNS; Functional Systems that Enable Learning; The Four Major Learning Systems and Circuits; Higher and Lower Functional Components of the Nervous System; Parallel-Distributing Processing; Signal Coding; Internal Brain Maps; Comparative Systems; The Anticipatory Nervous System; Functional Brain Scans. Handouts included in PDF file format.
