Course Description
This seminar presents aspects of neuroanatomy involved in learning and learning disabilities. Topics include: Growth and Development of the Nervous System, Essentials for Learning, Memory and Recall, Nervous System Pathology including Shaken Baby Syndrome, ADD/ADHD, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and Autism. Overview of the Visual System and its importance in learning is also presented. Handouts included in PDF file format.

4. Identify the essentials of learning.
5. Identify the various types of nervous system pathology.
