This seminar presents the neuroanatomy and neurology of closed head and brain injury in children and adults. Topics include: Head Injury Statistics and Risk Factors; Closed Head Injury from Shaken Baby Syndrome; Impact of CNS Dysfunction on Behavior; Functional Systems and Their Vulnerability; New Brain Maps; Areas of Injury; Vascular Insults and Tissue Types; Brainstem Syndromes; Cortical Pathology and Lesions.
